Reviews and Ratings
I couldn't get enough of the magnificent views over Porto from my room, though the noise from furniture dragging outside did keep me up at times. The room was impeccably clean and serviced promptly when requested, making it one of the best I've experienced in all my travels.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and cozy, with the added bonus of a private terrace where you could enjoy some privacy. However, the service fell short as the staff seemed clueless about local recommendations and left security concerns unaddressed. The location, while scenic, was a bit out of the way for those seeking a warmer ambiance in Porto. The dining options were hit or miss with some standout dishes but overall room for improvement.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were outstanding with a large and comfortable bed, quite spacious, and exceptionally clean. The service was top-notch, with quick email correspondence for arranging pick up at the airport. The location in Vila Nova de Gaia was amazing, just across from Taylors, with great views and aspects of Porto. The dining experience was outstanding, from the pool bar to the Michelin restaurant. Overall, a wonderful experience with just a couple of minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great experiences and a few minor disappointments. The rooms, decorated by a different winery from the region, were spacious and homely, offering a terrace with furniture to enjoy the breathtaking views. However, the early morning noise from the cranes working nearby was a bit disruptive.
My stay at the hotel was mixed. The rooms were stunning with large private balconies offering beautiful views of the Douro and Oporto, perfect for sunbathing. However, my room wasn't prepared for the night when I returned. The service was fantastic, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, though some seemed stressed. The location was great for accessing the Port houses in Villa Nova de Gaia, but the views and style of the hotel sometimes overshadowed the guest experience. The dining experience was outstanding, especially the variety of juices offered. Overall, a memorable stay with a few hiccups.
